Hi,

I was contacted by ICICI credit card and they promised to give me a credit card. They took all my documents in September and told that I would be getting a credit card in 15-20 days. I have still not received my credit card. And today, they call me offering another credit card. I told them that I already applied and haven't got it but she was offering another card saying that it was 3 months back so I can apply again. This is not the first time. Previously also I had someone from ICICI who took all my documents but did not give me the credit card. But, I couldn't do anything because I forgot to take the application number. This time, I have the application number and I am also writing to the Banking Ombudsmen of India. Just wanted to let everyone know about the misleading and cheating practices by ICICI.

Sub:Unsatisfactory service and false commitments & unethical Business Practices by Barclays credit card.
Respected sir,
I am a customer of Barclays credit card,I would like to bring to your notice about the unethical practices conducted by Barclays Bank.I was initially given a creditlimit of RS95000/- & then all of a sudden they reduce my Limit to RS13000/- without any reason being provided,I would have accepted the fact and agreed to it if I would have missed my payments or would have gone overlimit or something like that, when asked the bank they refused to give any explaination and said its confidential and its per the bank policy. However I continued to use the card and paid my bills on time online because they donot have any branches where the payment could be made they only have drop boxes.
In the month of July I made a payment of RS1412 instead of Rs1412 so the bank charged me interest of Rs59.04 and service tax of Rs7.30 so I called the bank informed them that it was a human error. So the Rep went ahead and reversed the amount and that credit of the above mentioned amount reflected in my august stmnt. So since I received the credit I made a payment of Rs 4653.48 which was excluding credit of Rs 59.04 and service tax of Rs.7.30.
So then the bank charged me interest of Rs226.16 and service tax of Rs27.95,I called the bank and spoke to a Supervisor named Kavita Khanna on 20th aug and she said that the reversal would be done in the next bill and I was asked to pay the entire bill for the next month I did so but there has been no credit provided by them till now,its being 6 months now and so after getting unsatisfied service and false commitments from supervisors like Manish Dubey,Gurpreet singh and several others I've still not received so I decided to close my card with them,I wanted to close my card with them earlier but never allowed me stating that you need to pay your bill first and then we would close the account. Finally I had paid the bill and requested to close card so I got a conformation call from Barclays they said that we will reverse the charges and please retain the card.I still haven't received the credit. Its not a matter of the amount but its a matter of ethics and principles.
Requesting your assistance on the same.

Regards,
Johnson Fernandes.

INDIANS. BEWARE !!!!

THIS IS TO BRING TO THE NOTICE OF ALL CITIZENS THAT THE IDBI BANKS PAISABUILDER.IN IS CHEATING THE PEOPLE WHO PUT IN THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR MAKING SOME PROFIT ON THE SHARE TRADING PORTAL.
BUT THE MODUS OPERANDI OF THIS IDBI BANK IS TO PLAY THE FOOTBALL WITH THE INNOCENT AND GULLIBLE INDIANS. THE IDBI BANKS BRANCHES THROW THE RESPONSIBILITY ON THE IDBI CAPITAL AND THE IDBI CAPITAL THROWS THE BALL ON THE IDBI BANK . THE RESULT THE TRADER IS PUT TO UNTOLD HARDSHIPS. THE MONEY DEPOSITED WITH THE BANK IS NOT CREDITED TO THE TRADING ACCOUNT FOR DAYS TOGETHER AND ANY COMPLAINT FALLS ON DEAF EARS. FURTHER THE WEBSITE WORKS AT THEIR WHIMS AND FANCIES.
IT LOOKS AS THOUGH IT IS NOT A BANK BUT A CHEATS ACCOUNT.
I REQUEST THE MEDIA TO HIGHLIGHT THE ISSUE SO THAT THE FELLOW INDIANS ARE NOT PUT TO UNTOLD FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS .
WHILE THE BANK ENJOYS FREE CREDIT BY NOT CREDITING THE CUSTOMERS MONEY TO THEIR RESPECTIVE ACCOUNTS.

AGGRIEVED IDBI BANKS CUSTOMERS.

Sub.: Declining level of quality of education and teacher.
Respected sir,
Through your esteemed and most widely read news-paper, I hope to catch the attention of Govt. and public towards the declining level of quality of education in India. A lot of measures have been attempted to improve the same but with a very few positive results. Quality of education is still declining, Why? What aspects have been neglected? Education as all know is a tri-polar process. It involves not only a learner or a teaching-learning environment but at the top most the teacher. Teacher along with his/her needs has been ignored for many years. Not only in self-financed institutes but also in Govt. and Govt. aided institutes, teachers are poorly paid. If we say rarely paid, it will not be wrong. How a teacher who is busy in making adjustments with his/her economic-needs can think of improving the quality of education provided by him/her to his/her students.
We used to blame teachers for doing tuition-work though lots of young teachers try to fulfill their economic-needs with this small amount of money earned from this tuition-work.
How teachers can concentrate on quality of education when their mind is indulged in quantity of money poorly paid to him/her in the name of salary for their priceless services to the nation.
If the Govt. wants to improve the quality of education, it must pay attention toward this critical condition of teachers.
A teacher must be paid according to Govt. norms in spite of kind of institution and nature of job. It will not only help teachers but also the quality of education shall improve as institutes will employ skilled and competent teachers as they have to pay same amount of salary to every teacher.
I also invite support from the persons having same view-point through this news-paper.
In the last but not the least I want to make a request to your good self sir, Please give some place to my article in your valuable news-paper so that the voice of many suffered teachers may reach the nation and the quality of education can be improved.
With thanks,
Yours faithfully,
