Word of Mouth and Brand Website: the most trusted sources for consumers!
Surfing the web, I just found a really good piece from Forrester Research, I guess the results are even further important to the advantage of both Consumer Generated Media and Brand Websites...Indeed, the Forrester report must be from 2005 or even 2004...
I am glad to see that among "vocal" consumers (PlanetFeedback members), the brand website is by far the most trusted source of "advertising" for consumers (among sources under direct control of marketers). I will soon write a piece with my colleague Nigel Roth on Brand Websites and "Organic" Word of Mouth... Hang on for now just look at the following chart:
