Once again, the product and only the product made the difference. The candidates were "new products" with lots of "new ideas" compared to what we had with the previous aging and lazy team. They were also well adviced to use a lot of the "new social networking tools" to interact with the people so as to learn from them and to explain what their plans were.
We then all acted as consumers and massively voted for those products and their promises..... Participation level was not a big surprise to me at least. When the product and value proposition is attractive....

What was the reason behind the huge participation numbers? Relevancy and receptiveness. Perhaps the market-research industry, even broader marketing industry, can learn something from the French government and people.
